Public Calendar URLs: Import your On-Call Schedule into Your Personal Calendar via iCal

Never miss an on-call shift again. All Quiet's new Public Calendar URLs feature brings your availability schedule directly into your personal calendar app.

What This Means for You

Instead of checking multiple places for your schedule, everything appears in one calendar. Your on-call shifts, availability overrides, and schedule changes sync automatically with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar apps.

How It Works

All Quiet creates two calendar feeds for you as .ics files in iCal format:

• Standard format for Outlook, Apple Calendar, and most desktop apps
• Google format optimized for Google Calendar

Both feeds update automatically and include:

• Your on-call shifts
• Personal availability overrides
• Schedule changes
• Proper time zone handling

Getting Started

1. Go to your Availability page in All Quiet
2. Find the "Public Calendar URLs" section
3. Click "Publish Public Calendar URLs" to generate your links
4. Copy the URL for your calendar app
5. Add it to your personal calendar

Please note: Calendar apps like Google, Outlook, and Apple handle subscriptions differently. To subscribe to your All Quiet on-call calendar, please follow the instructions for your specific calendar app. Keep in mind that it may take 12–24 hours for the first events to appear and for updates to sync based on your specific calendar app’s polling settings.

Privacy and Security

Your calendar URLs are private and secure:

• Each URL is unique to your account
• You can rotate URLs anytime for extra security
• Only your availability information is shared
• Your time zone settings are respected

Time Zone Setup

Make sure your All Quiet account and personal calendar use the same time zone for accurate synchronization. You can update your time zone in your All Quiet account settings.
