The Snooze Similar Incidents feature is an automated routing rule in All Quiet that suppresses repeat alerts from the same source. When you snooze a current incident, you can instruct the system to automatically snooze future incidents that match the same conditions. This prevents noisy integrations from paging your teams repeatedly.
Key Benefits and Details
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Primary Goal | Reduce alert fatigue by handling noisy conditions once. |
| Availability | Organization Owners, Organization Administrators, and Team Administrators. |
| Location | Incidents → Open an incident → Snooze action. |
How It Works
- Open an incident and select the Snooze action.
- Enable Snooze Similar Incidents in the dialog box.
- All Quiet creates a team routing named Snooze Similar Incidents.
- The system prefills the new rule with the attributes of your current incident.
- You set a duration under Snooze Similar For (minutes). Enter
0for an indefinite snooze. Quick duration buttons update both the current and the future snooze duration. - The platform applies this auto-created routing before any other routings on your team.
Limitations and Security
Privacy and reliability remain our top priorities:
- You must link the incident to an integration to use this feature.
- You can only apply this to a single incident at a time.
- You can review all auto-created rules anytime in your Routing list.
