The Grafana Slack integration sends Grafana alerts to Slack through All Quiet. A Grafana webhook contact point sends alerts to All Quiet, which creates an incident, notifies the on-call engineer and posts the incident to the Slack channels you chose, tagging the engineer on call if you enable it. If nobody responds, All Quiet escalates to the next person.

Use cases
Alert rules to the right team channel.
Severity filters send each team channel only the incidents it should see, so a critical alert reaches the on-call channel while low-severity alerts stay with the team that owns the dashboard.
On-call escalation behind the message.
All Quiet notifies the engineer on call by app, SMS or phone call and escalates to the next person if nobody responds, so a Grafana alert in a quiet channel still reaches someone.
Who is on call, from Slack.
Type /aq oncall in Slack to see who is on call in each escalation tier, or /aq new to open an incident by hand when you spot a problem on a dashboard.
