Summary: All Quiet now allows you to edit incident titles and comments. We added strict authorization rules to protect your data and maintain reliable audit logs. Status pages sync your edits instantly to keep your users informed.
Edit Incident Titles
You can now change an incident title directly from the incident detail page. Click the pencil icon next to the title.
Authorization: Only Organization Owners, Organization Administrators, Team Administrators, and the incident creator have permission to edit titles.
Audit Trail: The incident history timeline logs every title change as an "Updated" event. The log shows the old title and the new title to maintain security and reliability.
Integrations: Inbound webhook upserts do not overwrite a title you edit manually.
Edit Comments
You can update comments to fix mistakes or add clarity. Click the pencil icon on the comment event inside the incident history timeline.
Authorization: The original comment author, Organization Owners, Organization Administrators and Team Administrators have permission to edit comments.
Transparency: Edited comments display an "edited" marker. Users can hover over the marker to see a tooltip. The tooltip reveals the editor and the exact timestamp.
Status Pages Sync
Your status pages read data straight from the live incident document. When you edit an incident title or a public comment, the system updates the status pages automatically.
