The Sentry Slack integration sends Sentry issues to Slack through All Quiet. A Sentry internal integration posts issue events to an All Quiet webhook. All Quiet creates an incident, notifies the developer on call and posts the incident to the Slack channels you chose, then escalates if nobody responds. A mapping rule in All Quiet decides which issues create incidents.

What you get

New Sentry errors reach the developer on call
-
Incident messages in the Slack channels you choose
-
Escalation to the next person if nobody responds
-
Incident status and updates in one place
Use cases
A new production issue reaches the developer on call.
The issue becomes an incident, the developer on call is notified by app, SMS or phone call, and the team channel sees the same incident, so the person fixing it and the people watching it look at one record.
A resolved issue comes back.
When an issue you resolved is reopened, Sentry sends an issue event to All Quiet. The regression gets an incident and an owner instead of a quiet status change in Sentry that nobody is watching.
Noisy projects stay out of the pager.
Set the Discard attribute in the integration's mapping for the issue events you don't want as incidents. Low-value errors stay in Sentry, and only the issues you keep reach on-call and Slack.
